Gamers Never Say Die LAN

Hosted by Gaming Club at Oregon State University

We will never give up ... and never surrender!

The Gaming Club at OSU is putting on a premium LAN during Memorial Day Weekend. Event times are listed on this page, and yes it runs for FIFTY HOURS! There will be a hardware lockdown each night from the hours of 2am to 10am, which means no hardware is allowed in or out. We encourage you to go home, get some rest, and shower (hygiene is important!) during this time. You are not required to, and for those who choose to stay through the night a Gaming Club officer will be present for the duration of the event.

Since this is a premium LAN, there will be an entrance fee of $5, but pizza and soda will be provided Saturday night, as well as a prize raffle on Sunday. There may also be additional prizing for those who stick around...

Bring your desktop, laptop, console, board/card games, Magic cards, GM screen and dice, or whatever! We are a general gaming club and want everyone to have as much fun as they can gaming with friends.

Please print, sign the event waiver and bring it to the LAN.

Games of the Hour:

6pm - Console
9pm - TF2

10am - Minecraft
1pm - Magicka
6pm - Diablo 2
9pm - Tabletop

10am - The Ship
1pm - Primal Carnage

This LAN will be held in the Sackett Gaming Room. For those who don't know, it's a private and furnished LAN room with power, ethernet, and room for 30 gamers, as well as a bathroom and a drinking fountain. It is located underneath Sackett Hall, at the bottom of the South staircase of Wing A, through the door on the right. From the outside, it is inside the South-facing door with the Gaming Club flier on the Northeast corner of 30th and Jefferson. Because there is often poor reception inside, to be let in from outside, please call 541-737-2640 (also listed on the door flier). You may also use this number to get a hold of someone if completely necessary.

Table C is for people who only want to play tabletop or Project M/console games. There will be a Wii and maybe some other console set up in the corner.
